"Using the Sport Of Billiards To Spread The Gospel"

Please visit www.GospelTrickShot.org

The following pages present a ministry opportunity for Christians interested in using the Sport of Billiards to spread the gospel message.  The Lord can use your talents in this ministry whether or not you are a pool player.

(Note:  This ministry was presented to 16,000 college students
at InterVarsity Urbana 2009 Missionary Conference
so that some of the presentation is directed toward college age.
However, God is calling ALL AGES!)

Follow Through on God's Cue
to Rack Up more souls through You!

An Introduction To

"Using The Sport Of Billiards To Spread The Gospel"

We are surrounded by billiard tables!  We eat at a sports bar and a pool table is nearby.  We visit a friend's home and a pool table dominates the game room.  We go to our community centers and arrows point the way to the billiard room.  We visit retirement communities, YMCA's, Boys and Girls Clubs, outreach ministries, and many churches and we find one common recreational sport offered:  Billiards.

But wait!  We missed listing a prime location where pool tables are predominately located.  College and University campuses across the nation offer billiards as a recreational activity.  Pool tables are found regularly in the Student Union Buildings, dormitories, local apartment recreation rooms, and nearby hangouts.

Pool tables are everywhere because "Pool is everyone's game!"  49,018,000 people in the United States alone participated in the sport of billiards according to the 2009 survey conducted by the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA).  In other words, 17.5% of the United States population participates in the sport of billiards.  This makes billiards the 8th highest participated sport in the country falling only behind walking, camping, swimming, exercising with equipment, bowling, fishing, and bicycling.

As an attendee of Urbana 2009, you are interested in finding a ministry outreach.  Have you considered that 29.6% of the 49,018,000 people that play pool are between the ages of 18 and 24 years old making you the perfect age to interact with these participants?  God cares for these people and is calling young leaders to use the sport of billiards to communicate His gospel message.

The local pool table can be used to bring glory to our Lord!

Why is the sport of billiards so popular?  A pool table offers a means to enjoy fun, clean, and challenging games within a setting of social interaction and friendly competition.  Gospel Trick Shot Ministries, Inc. invites you to consider establishing a ministry which will provide the opportunity to build relationships with others around the pool table.  Our ministry draws in student players of all experiences into a forum of non threatening social interaction while building bridges to Jesus Christ.

And here is the fun part:
You do not even have to know how to play pool
to become a successful ministry leader!

We will provide you with the tools, materials, information, and experience that you will need to provide your campus and community with one or both of the following so that you may impact the world for Jesus Christ by:

          1.  Scheduling a Gospel Trick Shot Show
at your campus or local church performed by Steve Lillis,
               professional billiard trick shot artist.

          2.  Leading a "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" Ministry
designed to develop friendships with others,
to tell the gospel message, and to provide an ongoing short
"Pool Side Chat" Bible study relating to the sport of billiards.

Schedule a Gospel Trick Shot Show
Presented by Steve Lillis, Professional Billiard Trick Shot Artist

"How does he do that?"

One minute six billiard balls are huddled in the middle of the pool table and the next minute, with one stroke of the cue, these same balls are soon buried in a pocket.  In the hands of a professional billiard trick shot artist, the cue stick can perform amazing and incredible feats.  When you place this same cue stick in the capable hands of billiard professional Steve Lillis, be prepared for a time of fascinating entertainment combined with the dramatic presentation of the Good News of the Gospel.

God has gifted Steve Lillis not only with a talent to perform amazing trick shots on the pool table, but also with a servant's heart to use this gift as a ministry of sharing the gospel with others.  Each trick shot is performed simultaneously with a verbal presentation of a Biblical truth and/or Steve's personal testimony which draws viewers into a moment of soul searching decision.  This incredible and powerful combination of associating the truth of the gospel with the sport of billiards is a ministry opportunity that you will not want to miss.

Bring a Gospel Trick Shot show to your campus or church community and offer pool players, non pool players, Christians, and non Christians a captivating experience that will bring back gospel memories every time they play pool in the future.  Provide a Gospel Trick Shot presentation as a stand alone event activity or as a highlight within an ongoing billiard ministry such as "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" ministry offered in the next section.

Maybe you are thinking ....

"I would like to schedule Steve Lillis
to present  a Gospel Trick Shot Show on my college campus."

The following are the most common steps to bring a Gospel Trick Shot show to your campus:

1.  Visit your campus activities office and/or student government office and request funding for the purpose of scheduling a billiard event featuring a professional billiard trick shot artist.  Because the "Best Show Option" listed below provides for the highest student involvement, campus administration typically finds this choice more appealing despite the additional cost.

Fee Options (subject to adjustment depending on travel considerations):

          One GTS Show:       $    500
          Two GTS Shows:     $    750
          Best Show Option:   $ 1,000
Best Show Option Includes:  GTS Show
                                                           Challenge Matches With Attendees
                                                           Pool/Billiard Teaching Clinic
                                                           Overseeing Scotch Doubles Tournament

2.  Upon approval of funding, contact Gospel Trick Shot Ministries, Inc. and request a date that is available for Steve Lillis to visit your campus.
Gospel Trick Shot Ministries, Inc. - (973) 523-4074  (EST)
Gospel Trick Shot Ministries email - billiards12@hotmail.com

3.  Once the date and funding has been approved, complete a "Facilities Request Form" to reserve a pool table and sufficient space for attendees.  Pool tables are typically located in the student center game rooms, dorms, coffee houses, and frat houses.  (Note:  Reserving a well maintained "slate" pool table is recommended).

4.  Request permission to post flyers announcing the event from your campus activities office and post advertisement flyers at least two to three weeks in advance of the event.  Notify the campus newspaper of the upcoming event and request an announcement be placed.  Also notify campus Christian clubs and local church college groups.

5.  Coordinate a meeting time with Steve Lillis prior to the event for additional information, instructions, and prayer for God's plan of salvation to be received by many in the audience.  In addition, have a "follow-up team" available to follow up with students/attendees who have either made a committment to Christ or have indicated an interest in learning more.

OR MAYBE YOU ARE THINKING ....

"I would like to schedule a Steve Lillis
Gospel Trick Shot Show at my local church."
(If you have already scheduled a Gospel Trick Shot event at your college,
Steve Lillis is many times available for an additional show presentation
within the local church for a minimal or no additional fee.)

Gospel Trick Shot shows provide an exciting and unique community outreach tool for churches and other related organizations.  Even though these not-for-profit organizations are on a slim budget, funds are typically earmarked for special evangelistic events.  The following are the most common steps required to schedule a Gospel Trick Shot show within your community.

1.  Contact the Treasurer/Budget Committee of the organization and request funding approval to sponsor a Gospel Trick Shot presentation.  Please refer to the fee options above.

2.  Upon approval of funding, contact Gospel Trick Shot Ministries, Inc. and request a date that is available for Steve Lillis to visit your campus.
Gospel Trick Shot Ministries, Inc. - (973) 523-4074  (EST)
Gospel Trick Shot Ministries email:  billiards12@hotmail.com

3.  Once the date and funding has been approved, reserve a pool table and location which will provide sufficient space for the attendees.  If your church or organization does not have a pool table, pool tables are located in a wide array of locations such as bowling alleys, community centers, YMCA's, and local restaurants which typically offer an acceptable pool table environment.  In addition, consider asking a local billiard retailer to sponsor setting up a temporary pool table in exchange for publicity at your church or organization.

4.  Post flyers announcing the event and ask the local newspaper to also provide event coverage.  Provide sponsorship information on the flyers if more than your church or organization has contributed to the cost of the event.

Steve Lillis has provided
Gospel Trick Shot shows throughout the country since 1997.

Lead a "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" Ministry
An Event Ministry Designed To Build Friendships

We are all familiar with billiards, but what is "Bobble Ball?"

That one question will provide the opportunity for you to draw people to the billiard table because each of us is curious by nature to learn about something new, unique, exciting, and fun.

Bobble Ball® is a new pool table game using an "Egg Shaped Billiard Ball."
When you, as the leader of this ministry, place an egg shaped billiard ball on a pool table, heads will turn and people will come to the table with just your simple invitational wave of the hand tied with the phrase,

"Would you like to see a new game on a pool table
using an egg shaped billiard ball?"

Soon the balls will be rolling, people will be laughing, and you will have the opportunity to:
     1.  Offer a fun and dynamic activity
     2.  Foster relationships and interaction
     3.  Link students with local Church / Christian Club involvement
     4.  Facilitate a "Pool Side Chat" Bible study discussion
     5.  Host special billiard events throughout the semester:
               a.  Billiard and/or Bobble Ball Tournaments
               b.  Gospel Trick Shot Show by Steve Lillis

1.  Offer A Fun And Dynamic Activity

"Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" is a relationship event ministry.  People of all ages meet in various billiard environments to play and socialize around the pool tables.  Yet, the pool table is under utilized as a ministry tool.  The objective of this ministry is to offer a fun and dynamic activity for others to enjoy so that new friendships may develop.

You may be thinking,
"But I don't know how to play pool" or "I am not very good at pool."

That is actually the uniqueness
behind the "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" ministry:

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A POOL PLAYER TO LEAD THIS MINISTRY!

The game of Bobble Ball is so simple to learn that anyone can play!  Bobble Ball is a "target" game combining the game concepts of Billiards, Shuffleboard, Bocce Ball, Horseshoes, Darts, Golf, Curling, and Bowling.  No cue sticks are required so that if you can roll a ball by hand toward an object, then you are a natural born Bobble Ball player.

This ministry draws in the non pool player as well as the pool player and adapts to both.  Non-pool players are typically hesitant to step up to a pool table and demonstrate their lack of cue stick coordinatin skills.  And yet these same people eagerly step up to the pool table when they discover that they can just roll a ball by hand.

Pool players, on the other hand, are typically hesitant to lay down their cue stick and yet these same players prove to be the link that will encourage non pool players to learn how to play pool becuase the pool player will begin to naturally teach "newbies" about the angles, ball speed, diamond coordinates, ball deflection, and game strategy.  As people become more comfortable around the pool table and each other, friendships begin to develop.

In the event that you are a pool player and feel comfortable drawing in pool players as well as non pool players, incorporate Bobble Ball, the egg shaped billiard ball, into traditional pool table games such as 8 Ball and 9 Ball.  These games are called "Tag Ball" (8 Ball Tag and 9 Ball Tag) and present challenge and entertainment for the billiard enthusiast.  Watch the "Tag Ball" learning video on the website link listed below to learn the easy rules for this game.

A " Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" ministry offers:
A Fun And Dynamic Activity
Competitive Challenge
Connecting Billiard And Non Billiard Players Together
Using The Pool Table As A Social Tool And Relationship Forum
An Opportunity To Spread The Gospel

2.  Foster Relationship And Interaction

Developing friendships with both Christians and non Christians is the key to our ministry.  As the leader, you must be committed to play and socialize in a manner honoring to God with those who approach the pool table area.  Of course, you will not be able to foster a relationship with everyone that participates in the game, but you will be able to recognize those conversations where the relationship would welcome follow-up communication such as an invitation to a "Pool Side Chat" Bible study discussion or local church / Christian club upcoming event.

"Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" is intended to be a weekly event, but can be scheduled otherwise as your time permits.  Planning this event at regular intervals and at consistent times allows for participants to return and possibly feel more open to hear about how to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  An established time and place will attract and foster ongoing friendships and continued involvement within the ministry.

The following are some guidelines
for establishing a "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" event:

1.  Choose the location and request an ongoing reservation for the pool table(s) from the appropriate authority for specific dates and times.  Reserve the tables for a one hour time slot.  If the tables are located where an hourly usage fee is charged, then ask the manager for "free time" or a discounted rate.  Establishing "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" as an official "club organization" on campus will facilitate more cooperation from billiard room managers and your ability to post event flyers on campus and surrounding residences.  Two to three pool tables is ideal, but one table provides just as much opportunity for friendships to develop.  (NOTE:  If the pool table is a "ball return" table, stuff the pockets so that Bobble Ball does not fall into the pocket and get stuck!!!  Possible pocket stuffers are rags and oversize whiffle balls).

2.  Invite one or two of your own friends to each "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" event so that the tables will always have players available enticing others to become involved.  In addition, send out an invitation via email/facebook to those who have come to previous events.  Of course, this assumes that you are collecting email/facebook information from participants at each event.  Supply a piece of paper and a pencil for people to write their contact information down so that you may follow up with event and "Pool Side Chat" information.
Remember to ask participants for their contact information!

3.  While leading the event, be bold in inviting people to play a game.  Invite people who may be sitting nearby or walking through the area.  If one or two of your friends joined you, ask them to be playing the game while you invite people to play and then ask your friends to be willing to step aside and teach the game when you bring up a new player to the table.  Some curious viewers will claim that they just want to observe, but continue to extend the invitation to play.  If you are leading "solo," then stand at the table and play a frame by yourself while keeping an eye out for someone walking or sitting nearby that you could ask to join you.

4.  Talk.  Interact.  Listen.  Ask questions.  This is a relationship event ministry which means that you are trying to build a friendship with people on a casual level so that a door may be opened for you to share the gospel message.  Offer your participants kindness, patience, joy, and other fruits of the Spirit that will allow them to see Christ through you.  However, unless you have team helpers, avoid getting so involved with one person that you are neglecting others that really want to participate.  If you are running the event alone and someone is really interested in talking and learning more, excuse yourself temporarily when necessary in order to invite others around to participate.  Most people will understand that you are needed in this capacity in order to keep the event moving forward (however, offer a specific time when you are available to talk further).  If you are running the event with helpers, then ask each helper to be on the alert to take over the event when they see another helper deep into conversation.

"Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" Ministry
Allows You To Offer The Following:
Connecting with students to develop depth in your friendships.
Caring for students by being available for sharing and listening.
Responding to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of students.
Communicating with participants about upcoming events.

3.  Link Students With Local Church
and Christian Club Involvement

Not all people go to church.  This is not a surprise.  The surprise comes when we realize that many more people would attend church functions if someone took the time out to invite them.  One of the goals of "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" ministry is to extend an invitation for students to attend one of the many church events being offered within the community.  This invitation may be extended directly to participants verbally or by a flyer on event day and also via email/facebook communication.

Students are always on the lookout for fun things to do and yet they are not aware of the many activities being offered to their age bracket by local churches and Christian clubs on campus.  As the leader of "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" ministry, you will be involved in communicating these events to your event participants.  This will involve your communicatin with five or six local church college pastors and also the leaders of the Christian clubs on your campus.  Both churches and clubs usually have their activities planned for one to three months in advance so that a monthly phone call or visit to their websites should be sufficient for you to keep up with the upcoming activities.

Providing an array of church and club activities allows students to choose an activity that best fits their interests or previous church involvement.  "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" ministry is facilitating a means to advertise and announce locations where student participants will be able to mix with other Christians and hear the gospel presented.  We are committed to connecting students with church congregations within the local community.  Be bold through the power of Christ!  Invite students to a Christian/church activity thereby creating an opportunity for them to become a Christian and/or grow in the Lord.

Most church pastors are aware of other churches within the community offering active college programs so that one phone call should lead to a quick finding of churches to contact.  In addition, most college campuses have a Christian club (ie. InterVarsity, Campus Crusade, etc.) which also offer outreach college activities.  Contact the Student Government office for a listing of clubs on your campus that are Christian oriented.

Once you have a listing of local church activities, summarize and print out a few copies for participants to view at the "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" event as well as sending a weekly or biweekly email/facebook announcement to the participant contact names that you have collected.  Having a print out of activities at the event location will provide an easy conversational transition to church related topics.

Encourage the youth pastors in your area to offer a billiard related event such as an 8 Ball or Bobble Ball tournament.  In fact, coordinating your five to six churches together may provide the perfect opportunity and financing for a community church sponsored event featuring a Gospel Trick Shot presentation by Steve Lillis.  Email billiards12@hotmail.com  with a list of church contacts that may be interested in such a community event and a Gospel Trick Shot Ministries representative will assist in the planning and coordinating of the outreach event.

"Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" Ministry Matches Students With:
Local Church Congregations
On Campus Christian Clubs
Wholesome Community Activities Among Their Own Age Bracket

Church Locator Tool:  You may also use the following church locator tool to find a list of churches near your campus.  Help students get in touch with a church close to them and plug in with the people of God who will help them become a disciple of Jesus Christ.  http://www.forministry.com/profile/churchsearch.cfm

4.  Lead a "Pool Side Chat" Bible Study Discussion

Did you know that the pool table can teach us about the Bible and the gospel message?  Watching one of Steve Lillis' Gospel Trick Shot shows demonstrates this fact.  But what about when Steve is not there?  How can you, as the "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" ministry leader, transition from billiards to the Bible?  The answer is via the "Pool Side Chat" Bible study series; a unique feature of our ministry.

"Pool Side Chat" is a Bible study that has been written specifically with the sport of billiards in mind.  "Pool Side Chat - The Mystery of Death and Life" is a presentation of the gospel story from "Creation" to the "Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ" which uses pool table accessories to tell the Biblical story.  Each "Chat" builds on itself to tell the story and once a portion of the story has been told, a short array of questions follow which demand further contemplation and prompts further discussion from those present.

Consider how some of the following questions from various "Pool Side Chat" Bible studies might intrigue and lure some students to linger for more conversation:

What are characteristics of a bad wife?
Where does our tendency to give in to temptatin come from?
When did people first begin to worship the Lord?
What are characteristics associated with the Devil?
What is God's desire for man?
What is the one simple message of the Bible?
Why is the Sabbath a day of rest?

At the conclusion of the hour of playing Bobble Ball and/or Tag Ball, invite those still present at the pool table(s) to join you for a short discussion on how pool table accessories relate to the Bible.  Pose a question of interest from that day's study to instill interest among the students and make a specific invitation to join you for a brief 15-20 minute period of dialogue on the topic.

Find a location near the pool tables so that people can conveniently join in the discussion.  This is a casual introduction to Biblical principles within a public billiard environment so that the typical format Bible study ingredients of prayer and song would not be appropriate in most instances for the comfort level of non Christians.  If immediately following the "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" is not conducive for a Bible study or does not fit into your time constraints, then plan a separate time and place and invite students to meet for a casual study during that time.

Because lap tops are the extension of every student's right arm, the "Pool Side Chat" Bible studies have been written so that the leader and students may refer to the questions and related Biblical answers via the website: www.GUET.me   Once on the site, clicking "Pool Side Chat" on the right side of the screen will take you to a page listing all of the studies.  Answers to the questions will be most obvious when the Holy Bible, New Living Translation is used.  Prior to leading the individual Bible studies, we recommend that you read the entire presentation which is printed at the bottom of each "Pool Side Chat" page or viewable with coinciding photos by clicking the "Bible in Billiards" link just above the "Pool Side Chat" link.

"Pool Side Chat" Bible studies consist of 19 separate studies consisting of 5-10 questions each providing the leader with enough material to meet once a week throughout the semester.  The turnover of students and varying schedules allows for the easy repetition of this study from semester to semester.  Due to the style of questions, no two discussions among students would ever be the same and the varied input from students would always provide diversity.

Leading a "Pool Side Chat" Bible study does not require a seminary degree.  Prior to leading a Bible study, pray for God's wisdom and direction.  Also review the questions so that you are familiar with the content.  When in the midst of a discussion, always bring the conversation back to what the Bible is actually saying with respect to the question being asked.  A group discussion will always stray to various related subjects, but always conclude with a reminder of what the Bible's answer to the question is.

Keep the Bible study moving forward, but remain sensitive to someone's sincere interest or confusion on an answer or subject so that you may approach that person individually later for further conversation.  These study groups will actually provide good conversation material at the next "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" event.

If you are holding a "Pool Side Chat" study each week, send an email link of the specific "Pool Side Chat" study to everyone on the contact list with a sample statement such as: "Following our "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" event yesterday we talked about "Pool Side Chat Study #XX - Title of Study."  If you were able to join with us - Thanks!  If not, click the following link www.xxxx to keep up with us as we hope that you can join us next week at place/time."

5.  Host Special Billiard Events

Every sport has special events and the sport of billiards is no exception.  Create enthusiasm among your participants by planning various billiard related events such as an 8 Ball Tournament, a Bobble Ball Tournament, or a Gospel Trick Shot Ministries show by Steve Lillis.

In addition, keep informed on industry wide billiatd tournaments taking place and promote conversation regarding the various professional pool players and who might have the best chance of winning.  Refer to the listing of televised tournaments on ESPN and consider inviting a group to watch one of the tournaments of interest.  Provide some popcorn and soft drinks and enjoy guessing what shot the professional will be attempting next and where the cue ball should end up.  Pool players will even discuss what the proper "English" should be put on the cue ball in order to execute the shot correctly.  This simple get together will not only help others learn more about the Sport of Billiards, but will provide relationship building opportunities.  Visit the following websites as a starting place for plugging into the billiard community:
                                                  www.billiardscoop.com
                                                  www.Insidepoolmag.com

Another fun idea is to have an ongoing tournament among players throughout the semester.  This fosters a small group setting making it easier to develop friendships among all participants.  A tournament format is scheduled, but opponents may play each other at the time and place of their own choosing.  The scoring results are then emailed to you, the tournament coordinator, who will keep a running tally of the scores and respond to the participants who they are to contact next for a new challenge.

As we mentioned above, encourage the local churches to provide college group billiard activities in the local bowling alleys (which usually have pool tables) or local sports bars.  This is a very good opportunity to invite participants to a church activity which will provide additional exposure to the gospel.  Coordinating tournaments involving other local schools is also a fun way to encourage group participation.

Providing any or all of the following are ministry opportunities which will help to provide enthusiasm and establish friendships among your participants:

                a.  Billiard and/or Bobble Ball Tournament
                b.  Gospel Trick Shot Ministries, Inc. Presentation By Steve Lillis
                c.  Other Community Opportunities

Billiard and/or Bobble Ball Tournament
(Note:  Consider offering "Tag Ball" billiard tournaments using Bobble Ball.)

Encourage participants to meet and practice with each other in preparation for an upcoming billiard and/or Bobble Ball tournament.  Bobble Ball tournaments are a fun event to offer because people of all skill levels can participate.  For either style of tournament, the location should have sufficient pool tables to handle the number of players.  If the location is on campus, ask the billiard manager for free table time or for a discounted rate.  If the location is a local bowling alley or sports bar, ask the manager for a time frame that will offer the lowest cost.

Once you have a location and time established, begin asking people to sign up as a tournament participant at least two to three weeks prior to the event.  Encourage people to sign up with a partner and offer a Scotch Doubles tournament format.  This will allow for more relationship building among participants.  Also remember to post flyers announcing the event (permission may be required to post flyers).

Rotation schedules and tournament score sheets will be availabe soon on the www.Bobbleball.com  website.  Please email info@GUET.me  if you would like more information on how to easily set up a tournament.

If possible, provide tournament prizes such as gift certificates and candy bars.  To assist in financing these prizes, ask for sponsorship help from your local billiard retailer, churches, campus store, or other businesses in your area (restaurants, coffee house, fast food chains, etc.)

                  Gospel Trick Shot Ministries, Inc.
                      Presentation By Steve Lillis

The highlight event of an ongoing "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" ministry will be a Gospel Trick Shot show presented by billiard professional trick shot artist Steve Lillis.  Provide your participants with a futher understanding of the sport of billiards as well as an exposure to the Bible as Steve weaves the gospel message through his presentation.  The Lord regularly uses the alter call at the end of Steve's presentations to bring forward those interested in receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord.  This is a wonderful opportunity for the "Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast" leader to follow up and encourage these new believers.  Please refer to "Schedule a Gospel Trick Shot Presentation" section above for information about how to schedule a show or email billiards12@hotmail.com

                    Other Community Opportunities

The game of Bobble Ball provides an array of ministry opportunities within the community.  Following are some additional venues geared toward a variety of age brackets that you might consider providing Billiard and Bobble Ball Blast as a ministry.

Many of these type of organizations have access to a pool table within their recreational area.  Once pool table offering Bobble Ball can easily keep ten to fifteen young participants entertained in a Round Robin game setting.  In addition, organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club are grateful for volunteers that provide a fun and engaging activity for the kids on a regular basis.  To speak with someone who regularly provides this type of ministry to various organizations, email info@GUET.me

Consider the following benefits Bobble Ball games provide to the youth:
     *  Cultivates patience
     *  Instills an attitude of gentleness and humility among peers
     *  Provides a competitive challenge
     *  Encourages the overcoming of a new obstacle (billiard table)
     *  Promotes a forum for integrity, openness, and honesty
     *  Fosters social companionship and community
     *  Forges a fun and dynamic activity
     *  Inspires perseverance
     *  Develops understanding of the important math concept of angles
     *  Integrating the key physics concepts of speed, contact, and friction
     *  Leverages the pool table as a direct support of math curricula
     *  Polishes a conceptual understanding of K-12 geometry
     *  Links students to an enjoyable mathematic tool
     *  Orients students to math manipulatives and hand/eye coordination
     *  Sharpens sensitivity to the relationship between visual and spatial lines
     *  Teaches the graphic likeness and mental manipulation of real objects
     *  Facilitates an unintimidating introduction to the Sport of Billiards!!!!

Senior Community Centers,
Retirement Communities, Convalescent Homes

Most venues providing activities for seniors include a pool table within their activity center.  In addition, most of these venues employ an Activities Director who is always eager to provide new and entertaining activities for their seniors.  Leading a Bobble Ball activity among the seniors is a very rewarding experience because seniors have so much friendshipt and wisdom to offer and yet are generally easily lost in the shuffle of our busy lefestyles.  Because the game is so simple, Bobble Ball provides a fun activity for those riddled with arthritis, shaky with Parkinson's, or those confined to a wheelchair.  To speak with someone who has regularly provided this type of ministry among the seniors, email info@GUET.me

Consider the following benefits Bobble Ball games provide to seniors:
     *  Motivation to stand for longer period of times resulting
in stronger bones and stronger leg and truck muscles.
     *  Dynamic standing with gentle balance and weight shifting challenges
approprate for each player, providing improved balance
               and improved safety.
     *  Stimulates cognitive challenge in assessing constantly changing
game strategy, game rotations, and scoring.
     *  Encourages fine motor control in the release of the ball and
               speed control of the ball.
     *  Provides walking exercise in the calculation of scores and retrieval
               of balls after each frame.
     *  Inspires social interaction.
     *  Easily adapted for players who are wheelchair-bound.
     *  Broad based game appeal among players of all ages allowing for
the easy integration of seniors with younger age brackets.
     *  A fun new recreational and exercise program instantly adjustable
to the individual level of balance of each player.

Local Sports Bars, Billiard Rooms, Bowling Lanes

Many businesses that provide pool tables to the public have time slots throughout the week where the pool tables are lying dormant.  Coordinate with the managers of these venues and tap into these time slots for a minimal fee and offer a Bobble Ball tournament.  Bobble Ball games provide a fun activity for singles to socialize, couples to enjoy a "date night," non pool players to have fun around a pool table, and idle customers to participate in an activity while enjoying the food and drink at the facility.  To speak with someone who has regularly provided this type of service and ministry among "billiard room operator" businesses, email info@GUET.me
